Single Tooth Bleaching

Sometimes a single tooth can darken over time from a history of trauma, endodontic treatment (root canal), or other unknown causes. Often it is possible to change the color of a single tooth without placing a crown or veneer or a bonded restoration.

The procedure usually involves multiple appointments, but can result in a comparatively inexpensive treatment to lighten the color of a dark tooth. Not all teeth will change color at the same rate. Not all teeth will be able to return to original color using this procedure. This procedure works best for teeth which have had endodontic treatment (root canal).
